Common Questions

  • "I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor.” I am not an ordained minister or a pastor. But I am a practicing Christian who regularly attends and is actively involved in church. I believe in God the father, His son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and welcome them into my counseling approach if people feel comfortable. You do not have to be a Christian to receive counseling from me. If you do not wish to receive faith based integrative approach in our sessions that is not a problem. Simply let me know during our intake session.

This session helps us build a strong foundation.

If you’re using insurance, I’ll make an initial diagnosis during this session, which may be updated later as we continue.

  • Many clients stick around for 12 months or more, but it’s entirely up to you. If you’re looking for real, lasting change, plan to commit to at least three to six months.

Most clients feel some relief pretty quickly, especially if they’ve been bottling things up for a while.

Some clients feel ready to move on after that, while others prefer ongoing support.
